Filtering Out Keywords From Feeds

Hi all,

I would like to filter out particular keywords from all the feeds I follow. I have looked at the documentation article regarding filtering; but, found I had great difficulty trying to understand how to do this.

I would like to filter out the word bitcoin for example from all the feeds that I follow.

I guess something like that

var blacklist = [
'Bitcoin'
];
function filterMessage() {
if (blacklist.some(i => msg.rawContents.indexOf(i) != -1)) {
return MessageObject.Ignore;
} else {
return MessageObject.Accept;

}

I have looked at the documentation to see if I was doing it correctly; however, I do not know what I am looking for. I even tried the duplicate pre-made filter but it does not seem to work for me.

What is your RSS Guard version?

You should add the new filter and then assign it to the feeds you want it to be applied to.

You can test it then with the Test button to see if it detects the messages with the "Bitcoin" term.

I did as instructed, but I think it is not working. After pressing Test do I have to do anything else? Are the other buttons used in any way?
