RSS Guard users are getting blocked from Open RSS

I started using the Open RSS service only a few days ago to create a suitable list of feeds — 14 of which originated from the same domain, classified into 14 different categories of interest. I was blocked from using their service very soon after the first feed refresh. These are the pertinent links to the block notice and where it refers to RSS Guard:

From the above, it appears to be a known RSS Guard "issue", one which could supposedly be circumvented by staggering numerous feed refreshes from the same domain. I tried to find a method to stagger the refresh time for each of these feeds, but could find one that was appropriate. Has the Open RSS issue been be resolved yet? If not, could this issue please be addressed as a probable app enhancement?

I've gone through these posts, but I am yet to learn how Open RSS applies the blockage. Do they apply it by user IP, anything else, or do they block RSS Guard requests regardless?

Cannot you just make feed auto-fetch interval bigger?

This setting should ideally be more visible and easily accessible, located under Settings > Feeds & Articles > Feed Fetching, or Feeds > Context Menu > Edit Selected Items > Articles — or any way as the developer sees fit. Additionally, what about users who do not utilize "auto-fetching" intervals at all? Manual fetching is equally important, and both methods need to be considered in the application. Currently, the blocking appears to be triggered by an excessive number of calls to one domain. Therefore, these calls must be staggered to prevent blocking. What constitutes an excessive number of calls? Evidently, the solution involves providing a method to stagger the feed fetch intervals—either per feed or collectively by group.

I was blocked by Open RSS when I tried clicking those links and I have never visited the site before nor used the service. I do connect to the internet via Nord VPN though so I guess they block VPN users - though in fact when I connected through a different server and read through their "issues" page it seems they block everyone and his auntie. Maybe they just don't like people using the service?!

Yes, they are very strict and I do not plan to deal with the site anymore.
