Feature Idea & Request - Status Update Records w/Date #37
Description
Suggesting a journal formatting option to record details and progress in resolving issues on tasks. I take daily notes in the description area of the cards. Since we start at the top and move down, newer entries end up being at the bottom of the card. If I want the latest entry at the top, I have to manually move the previous entry down to make room for it. Everything ends up messy.
I would like it to be formatted to end up looking something like this:
9/25 - created an issue to request a feature
9/24 - read about Git hub and open source
9/23 - the notes of this day ended up at the top and no longer make sense because I moved them down and lost some text on the way. Wish there was a way to have new writing at the top.
It could be as simple as having it so that when I'm done with an entry, I hit Enter twice and the cursor moves up two lines, rather than down. Or even a keyboard shortcut that takes you to the top. That probably already exists. . .
I have no idea if this is the place to ask about this. Please redirect, if needed. Thanks
