Related: I just wrote a function to work for javascript functions. @kana Do you want a pull request? Or do you think it's better to install a separate plugin like the one you mentioned above?

EDIT:
Scanning that plugin, mine is a lot less code, so it may be less sophisticated, but it seems to work pretty well for all the function formats I use.

I can't find it anymore. I do see thinca/vim-textobj-function-javascript in my vimrc, so I think I must've gotten rid of it and opted to use that.
