Description

@edwardivpn

A user reported a UI issue observed when using the IVPN GUI on Debian 13 under KDE Plasma with Wayland (Wayland 1.23.1-3).

Issues observed:

  1. Incorrect or inconsistent Settings navigation

    • When navigating within the Settings menu, the wrong submenu may open instead of the one selected.
    • For example, selecting Account from Advanced may incorrectly open AntiTracker.
    • Similarly, when selecting different submenus, a random or unintended section may appear instead of the chosen one.
    • This issue is most frequently observed with the Connection submenu:

  1. Dropdown rendering issue in General settings

    • In the General section, dropdown menus (e.g., Color theme, Tray icon) appear incorrectly rendered (dark/black).
    • The dropdown contents only render correctly when the mouse pointer hovers over them.
