Not detecting Night Mode on Android

I am using react-native-appearance 0.3.2 and expo 36. Night mode system setting is not being detected on Samsung Galaxy S8 using android 9 SDK. It is working just find on iphone.

I'm definitely experiencing the same issue on Essential Products PH-1 that's running the latest Android 10 (build number: QQ1A.200105.032).

Experiencing the same issue using "react-native-appearance": "~0.3.2" and "expo": "^36.0.2".

Appearance.getColorScheme() returns light.

Same here, with a Samsung device as well. It works as expected on my other test devices (Non-Samsung)

Im running into the same issue with Expo 36 on Samsung Note 10 with Android 10 / One UI 2.0

I did the test with the following physical phones: Pixel 3 XL and Samsung Note 10 and in both cases it returns "light" (both with Android 10).

Still no works with last version and with Expo SDK 37 =( any advice with that ? we need to way to next Expo release with RN 62 ?
