I would love to use this package but unfortunately i keep getting errors during the installation.
Can you help me?
The errors I get are:
ERROR: dependency 'fastmap' is not available for package 'shiny'
- removing 'C:/Users/Eline/Documents/R/win-library/3.4/shiny'
In R CMD INSTALL
Error: Failed to install 'BoxPacking' from GitHub:
(converted from warning) running command '"C:/PROGRA1/R/R-341.3/bin/x64/R" CMD INSTALL -l "C:\Users\myname\Documents\R\win-library\3.4" C:\Users\myname\AppData\Local\Temp\RtmpMr8FXy/downloaded_packages/shiny_1.4.0.tar.gz' had status 1
AND:
Binaries will be installed
Package which is only available in source form, and may need compilation of C/C++/Fortran: ‘fastmap’
These will not be installed
Do I need extra programs to run this package? (Which ones?)
