video appears to jump back one frame upon pausing

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Add a video
2. hit play
3. pause the video
4. observe that the video seems to jump back a frame upon pausing

Expected behavior
I expect to not see a jump and for the video to smoothly pause
