Cannot find namespace 'google' (Angular 7.2)

I've just followed instructions in readme.md "Angular Example" and this error occured:

ERROR in node_modules/location-picker/dist/types/location-picker.d.ts(1,23): error TS2688: Cannot find type definition file for 'googlemaps'.
node_modules/location-picker/dist/types/location-picker.d.ts(2,21): error TS2503: Cannot find namespace 'google'.
node_modules/location-picker/dist/types/location-picker.d.ts(3,14): error TS2503: Cannot find namespace 'google'.

Angular CLI: 7.2.3
Node: 8.15.0
OS: linux x64
Angular: 7.2.2

I found a solution:

npm install --save @types/google-maps

maybe this should be mentioned in readme.md 'Angular example'.
