Disjoint multi-word units

Hi, is there a way to represent and score _disjoint_ multi-word units? I get the same result when i try both (A and B) options below, so presumably they are both _joint_ multi-word units?

**Case A**

took 0  4  (1
her  5  8  -
life 9  13 1)
```

**Case B**
```
took 0  4  (1
her  5  8  1
life 9  13 1)
```
