Explore the use of SSL/HTTPS for SimpliCity

We had a request from a user to implement SSL/HTTPS for SimpliCIty. The user mentioned a federal government initiative to have all websites and data protected by SSL by the end of 2016, as they believe "all browsing activity should be considered private and sensitive." https://https.cio.gov/. This probably something that we should explore. I think gh-pages supports HTTPS now.
