Overdue tasks no longer in Agenda view?

Hi there - with the recent shift to utilizing Bases for TaskNote views, one significant change seems to be with the Agenda view. It is now technically a calendar view in the list format, rather than a task list sorted by date.

It used to be that there was an option to show overdue tasks in the Agenda view, but now I cannot see how to make that happen. Is that intentional? Do I need to instead just use a Task List view for the same purpose that the Agenda view once fulfilled?

An idea would be a setting to enable propagation of overdue tasks to today.
