Bug: Routing does not work

I am using eqMac to have software volume control on my Creative T60 speakers. MacOS does not allow to control the volume on these speakers by default.

So I have enabled the routing on all other audio sourcee and kept eqMac active only for Creative T60.
But after system restart, the eqMac is disabled also on the speakers. (sometimes the speakers are turned off and I use a different audio output first)

When I open and close the settings, it works as expected.

When the issue occurs, what device is shown as selected in macOS audio output settings/dropdown? is it Creative T60 or 'Creative T60 (eqMac)'? Also to confirm - is the eqMac bypass toggle shown as enabled/red or is it green (top left corner of main UI window) but the configuration set is not being applied?

The configuration is applied, and works properly until the next restart.
But after Mac mini restart, I see Creative T60, without the eqMac note.
And the app looks like this.

I'll have a talk with the dev, the feature itself should be working, but there are always issues with certain device detection, maybe this could be related.

Can you also send screenshot on how the Creative T60 looks like in macOS Audio MIDI settings and check for crash logs for 'eqmac' or 'coreaudiod'. If the driver crashes, it could also result in app disabling itself (tho opening settings should not make it work all of a sudden, but check just to make sure)

Open 'Console' app, on the left there will be 'Crash Reports', look for any 'eqMac' or 'coreaudiod', if you find any then you can right click and choose to 'Reveal in Finder' and can either share them here or send to dev through the eqMac online chat (need to log in to your account page and you'll find 'contact us' in bottom left)

Had a chat with dev, looks like the crash is likely not related to the issue and it's more due to the changes in device detection logic (dev is working on a resolution for upcoming patches). For now you can try enabling Beta version and upgrade to v 1.8.15 if you're not on it yet, or downgrade to 1.8.12 (or 1.8.13 according to one other user).
