Cannot capture standard output

When launching bgi, it always relaunch itself, disconnecting from the console/shell, regardless of whether or not the console has elevation or not.

• Starting from console, without elevation. It will exit, disconnecting from the console and prompt for UAC normally.

• Starting from console, with elevation. It will still exit, disconnecting from the console.

• Try to do it with powershell.

I want to capture the console output because I want to send them somewhere in real time, and tail -f-ing rotating log files on windows is not very easy.
How can I keep it in the shell so I can pipe the console output somewhere?

Here is proof that the environment is elevated before launching BetterGI:

As you can see, both PowerShell and Python confirm elevation, and net session does not return an error. However, when I launch BetterGI.exe, it still restarts itself and detaches from the console.

These scripts use the same logic as RuntimeHelper.GetElevated():
