description update stop working.

So recently my integration's update description stop working. now when I try to update the description I get a "RubyBox::ItemNameInUse: Item with the same name already exists" I will take a look and see if I can give you a hand looking for this bug.

Hey Marco, I just tried this on both a folder and a file and both worked fine. I tried setting them again and that worked fine. I wonder if this is something coming from within ruby-box. I’ll let you know if I see this error. I’m working on some code now that is going to set a lot of descriptions.

I just ran into the issue. If you use client.create_folder then you can set the description. However, if you use some_folder.create_subfolder you cannot set the description. You get the error you mentioned about item name already in use. I guess I’ll keep poking around to see what I can find. I haven’t looked at the http message going out for create_subfolder yet.

actually you don’t even have to set the description. Just calling update throws the error.

so I figured out how to get it to work. I’m not sure why this is required but it is for now. I basically had to reload the new folder I created. Here’s what’s working now:

#create the folder
claim_id = Random.new.rand(600000000..999999999).to_s
claim_name = "Claim ##{claim_id}"
claim_folder = customer_folder.create_subfolder(claim_name)

#set the description
claim_folder = customer_folder.folders(claim_name).first
claim_folder.description = description
claim_folder.update

I think this has being fix... magic fairies on box I guess. can someone confirmed that is not just my imagination.
