Hourly job?

It is said to run this script hourly - https://github.com/angular/google-cla-verifier-for-github/blob/master/cla-verifier.gs#L50 But why? Shouldn't GitHub trigger the script on new PRs?

BTW, is it the script that is running here - google/support-tools#186 ?

I don't think there's a way to have a GitHub WebHook run a Google App Script. If that's possible, then yeah it's better than running hourly.
