Not found in ConanCenter

Hello,
The repo says the project can be used with Conan, but does not mention the name of the package, and I cannot find it online: https://conan.io/center/recipes?value=qi
Would you agree we make it available?

I hope you're well. Libqi is indeed not available on Conan center at the moment. We could technically make it available but we would have to:

• Decide who legally owns this code. I think that at this point, it's Maxtronics Robotics ? That would be their decision I think.
• Accept that the recipe might need to be maintained in the Conan center repository.
• Write the recipe and make a pull request on the Conan Center repository (https://github.com/conan-io/conan-center-index).

Since this is licensed under BSD, another company should be allowed to publish it.
I'm tempted to do through one of my clients company, who are interested in using it.
I am a contributor to https://github.com/conan-io/conan-center-index, also.
But maybe there is a simple way to use the lib with conan without publishing it?

Yes you're probably right, I don't think there is any legal issue here, anybody should be able to make and push the recipe.

There is one, although it depends what simple is for you 😄. You can clone libqi locally on your machine and then conan export it in your local Conan cache. This should make it available for any consumer packages that you want to build on that machine.
