I wound up here by chance from a Hacker News link someone posted somewhere about C string libraries. I couldn't remember the name. I kept searching Google for things like "micro/tiny/small/minimal glib" and "important parts of glib github". It didn't appear. I finally hunted for a few minutes through my browser's about:history tab and found that it was called clib of all things! 😅
I think that leaning into the "implements the most important classes from GLib" angle with the name would be a good idea for Google-ability SEO stuff. I've seen "tiny___", "micro___", and "mini___" names do well (https://github.com/juliusbaechle/MicroQt, https://github.com/tinylibs/tinyspy, https://github.com/lieff/minimp3). Something to that effect to really hit home that this is GLib related and not libc related would be a good idea I think.
But that's just me. 🤷
