• I have read the plugin manual and searched the existing issues.

Why?

The histogram of the wave in the main page should show post side chain EQ levels (internal and external of course). Instead of whole signal all the time (all modes)

the original signal can still be shown very faintly. Dark grey 20% opacity

Move/copy the monitor side chain button to the side chain EQ page as well.

a disable whole side chain EQ button inside the EQ itself. On top right along with the range

What do you want?

post sidechain EQ waveform histogram.
monitor side chain EQ in the EQ page itself
disable EQ button in the EQ page itself

I don't see a strong reason to present the level of side-chain. And I am afraid that three histograms (or even more) might seem distractive to users.

Move/copy the monitor side chain button to the side chain EQ page as well.

You can always open the Side-chain Panel along with the Side-Chain Equalizer. The EQ page is quite tight and does not have much space for additional buttons.

That sounds like a good idea. I might add it to the Side-chain Panel, as there is still some space left there.

That sounds like a good idea. I might add it to the Side-chain Panel, as there is still some space left there.

I was trying to use it as a gate and a de easier. But the levels are always pre EQ.

It doesn't have to be 3. Would have preferred the levels to change depending on the EQ so that you can set the threshold easier.

I think there is space in the EQ page. On the top right. To quickly monitor what the EQ is doing. As you mentioned, can open both so it's not a big deal.

Someone using the extended features would need to see side chain levels, post EQ levels, and post processing levels. (All in the histogram of course)

One more thing. Maybe changing the name would be cool? From ZL compressor to ZL dynamics. As this has many modes to my surprise lol.

If you ever get the time, a multiband version of this would be very cool.

I might be able to add a toggle button in the Side-Chain Panel. Let me think about this. By default it will not show the pre/post EQ levels.

One more thing. Maybe changing the name would be cool? From ZL compressor to ZL dynamics. As this has many modes to my surprise lol.

The plugins is initially a compressor so I cannot change the name afterwards. Perhaps I will change it in the next big version (e.g., ZL Dynamics 2 or something).

If you ever get the time, a multiband version of this would be very cool.

I do have the plan but do not expect it anytime sooner :)

fair. as long as it can be activated and saved as default shouldn't be a problem. but i do insist that people would expect it. other plugins do this.
