Function not implemented: 'avcodec_open2("hevc_nvenc", {})'

Running this command auto-editor --margin 0.3s GX010647.MP4 throws Function not implemented: 'avcodec_open2("hevc_nvenc", {})'.

I know nothing about encoding, video and what not so I don't know what it's saying. All I found that looked related was something from 7 years ago (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/43244894/no-nvenc-capable-devices-found). The answer is Mandarin to me.

The error message slightly changed but still referring to the same bit with an even more obscure error message:

@WyattBlue Just a quick update to let you know that I spent hours trying to install various versions and such but I can't seem to figure out what to do.

What do you think I should look for based on the information I shared?
