By accessing or using WeWrite (the "Service"), operated by WeWrite, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("WeWrite," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
WeWrite is a social writing network that enables users to create, share, and connect written content through pages and links. Our platform facilitates civic dialogue and knowledge sharing through user-generated content.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use WeWrite
- Users between 13-17 years old must have parental or guardian consent
- Users 18 and older may register independently
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- You retain full ownership of all content you create on WeWrite
- You are solely responsible for the content you post
- You represent that you have the right to post your content
By posting content, you grant WeWrite a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- Store, distribute, and backup your content
- Display your content to other users as part of the Service
- Make technical modifications necessary for the operation of the Service
- Content export functionality is planned for future implementation
- You may delete your content at any time, and it will be permanently removed
- Account deletion functionality is planned for future implementation
- WeWrite operates a direct USD payment system for supporting content creators
- Users fund their accounts monthly with real USD amounts (no virtual currency)
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe
- Users allocate their monthly funds directly to creators they wish to support
- Users choose a monthly funding amount for their account
- Funds are allocated to creators throughout the month
- At month-end, allocated funds are distributed directly to creators
- Unallocated funds support WeWrite platform operations and development
- All payments are processed in USD through our payment processor Stripe
- WeWrite retains platform fees from unallocated funds and processing fees
- Creator payments are subject to our payout policies and minimum thresholds
- Payment disputes should be directed to our support team
- Monthly funding is processed as a recurring subscription
- Users can modify or cancel their funding at any time
- Billing occurs on the same day each month
- Refunds are handled according to our refund policy
You may not post content that:
- Is illegal under applicable law
- Violates intellectual property rights of others
- Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
WeWrite is committed to being a free speech platform that facilitates civic dialogue. We will not moderate or censor content except where required by legal jurisdiction. Any content removal will be conducted with the utmost transparency.

- We strive to maintain high service availability and uptime
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service
- We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or updates
- We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions

- We are not liable for data loss, though we take reasonable precautions
- Data export functionality to facilitate content portability is planned
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WEWRITE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Most disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for:
- Cases involving criminal conduct
- Other serious and sensitive legal matters
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- You may stop using the Service at any time
- We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately
- Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect
- We may update these Terms from time to time
- Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date
- Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance
- Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email
