This project is no longer maintained. W'll update to v3 and then we should consider migrating to a different supported lib:

not sure it's possible
operator in some places uses Victoriametrics code for yaml unmarshalling, which relies on yaml.v2 library and there are compatibility issues while migrating to other library (besides v3 probably)

also migration to v3 as intermediate step complicates crafting result yaml. let's keep current yaml.v2 and migrate once victoriametrics repo migrates (but VM is going to migrate to another library once there're some security or other issues)

go-yaml has v4, it should be the best option, also we have it among indirect dependencies
