Recently found out about SiliconCompiler which positions itself as "make for silicon". I think it would be cool to learn more about its benefits compared to what we have right now in terms of the setup.
Interested to learn more about the following:
- how well does it integrate with the stack that we have right now (Verilator/cocotb/Quartus/OpenROAD/etc.)
- does it abstract the installation of the deps/track versions/etc. (this would greatly simplify our dockerfile management and version tracking)
