Get the version of Tandoor recipe for usage in Release-argus

Hi,

I would like to use release-argus to get an information about a new release of Tandoor recipes. Therefore I need the installed Version number of the Tandoor instance. I know, that this info is on the system - page available for the admin, but it seems not possible to get it without login. I had a look to the API calls but did not find anything about version Infos. Is there a way I missed? Or will it work with an API login to gain access to the system-page?
