Description
A Functional Hazard Assesment (FHA) is a document that describes the consequences of failure of a system. As we are designing this new system from the ground up, this is an activity we should perform in order to determine required levels of robustness and testing policies for the system.
The flight computer and onboard electronics are out of scope and will be handled by the flight firmware team. Consider the liquids system boundary to include:
Client devices
The dashboard server (and its host device)
The ground station, SDEC, and SDEC-API (and its host devices),
The LQD-DAQ service (and its host device),
The LabJack,
and any networking interfaces between these components.
Identify the consequences of failure for any of these components.
Required Reviewers
This document should be reviewed by all relevant project leads, SQA personnel, and the customer.
