news + events page

- combine news posts and events in the one page at /news
- additionally, the events need to be rendered on the calendar widget
- the latest news should be visible on the homepage as well
- the homepage countdown should be for the first upcoming event
- (make sure to show an appropriate message if there is no upcoming event)
