3D-1D coupling

Use Case

We want to coupling 3D solver with 1D solver as a coupled boundary condition

Problem

We only have 0D solver coupled with 3D solver for its boundary condition.

Solution

We plan to make APIs for data exchange with 3D solver

Update. Apr 6th

Made 1D APIs to be consistent with existing 0D APIs for coupling with 3D solver.

Functions are stored in "interface.cpp" file.
Main functions are: initialize_1d, set_external_step_size_1d, return_1d_solution, update_1d_solution, run_1d_simulation_step_1d, and extract_coupled_dof.

Now, when you compile the code, it will create a shared library for coupling at ".../svOneDSolver/build/lib/libsvoned_interface.dylib"

The API functions can be accessed through this shared library.

I also tested these APIs through a standalone test framework that reproduces the 3D solver coupling process.

I compared current version of coupled 1D code with original 1D code and they made exactly same results
