### What: Workshop to develop best practices in sports analytics education
### When: January 29 & 30, 2027
### Where: Charlotte, NC on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte
### Who: Invited Experts in sports analytics, statistics and data science education
This SCORE Network workshop will generate guidelines/best practices for educational training in sports analytics and for building robust pipelines between academia and industry. The workshop will engage leading experts from industry and academia to draft national guidelines around sports analytics in higher education. The in-person event, from Friday midday to Saturday midday, will be held in Charlotte, NC on the campus of UNC Charlotte. With the rapid growth of this dynamic field and with new academic programs being developed, this is an auspicious time for this workshop.
