Description
Hi,
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I could find it, although this seems something obvious, so I don't really know why it wouldn't have been asked before.
I'm using Firefly importer with lunchflow.
For withdrawals (expenses) we are able to map merchant names to firefly expense accounts.
But we aren't able to map merchant names for deposits (income). So the source account for all these transactions is "cash". We then use rules depending on the description to match it to the correct revenue account, but that seems unnecessary if income mapping would also be possible. And it's error prone.
As a side effect, if a merchant from an income is mapped to an asset account, the import could then create a transfer instead of a deposit.
Solution
Allow mapping income merchants to income accounts. Then create deposit with the correct source account.
If both source and destination accounts are asset accounts, create a transfer.
