Files not sent go to History not Error

I have had files that did not get transmitted that end up in History instead of sent.
It tries to send 3 times, then moves the file to History. The only way to know is when the trading partner informs us they did not receive the file, or we notice that we are missing a 997

Which version of OpenAS2 are you running?

What are the settings for your directory poller?

Can you provide log files to show what happened?

NOTE: I m unclear what "History" means - is this the sent directory? The system is designed to move failed files to the ERROR directory as defined by the "errordir" parameter for the poller if any form of error occurs including if it fails to send after N retries. Without seeing a log file it will not be possible to see what your deployment is doing.

There have been numerous bug fixes and enhancements since that version - v3.11.0 specifically dealt with issues around where files would be archived to when an error occurred.
I recommend you upgrade to the latest release ASAP as 3.x is not longer supported and there are a number of known security issues with the versions of libraries used in your deployed version..
