Describe the bug
We expect a smooth exponential decrease in the TOA time walk. We can see some jumps on almost all channels, shown in the following figure:
The following figure is showing how the effect looks like in one channel:
The shape of the jump is pretty consistent over channels, but they vary in length and size.
Potential Causes and Things to Check
TRIM_TOA alignment missing.
- All data is taken at the timepoint of 25 ns. How does it look at different timepoints?
- Does the noise in TOA relate to the position and size of these jumps?
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Run TASKS.CHANNEL_WISE_SCAN in pftool.
Analyze the produced csv file with ana/toa/toa_time_walk.py.
Environment:
