[BUG] TidalLuna occasionally reloading while no music is playing until Tidal errors out

Prerequisites

Please check the following before continuing:

• I have searched for existing issues, including closed issues to ensure this is not a duplicate.
• This is a issue for the Luna Client and not a Plugin
• I am running the latest Luna Client version (See latest release)

Environment

• OS: Windows
• Client Version: 1.12.5-beta

Description

When no song is playing (I have Tidal on a second monitor), it like randomly refreshing the screen, to the page that shows the "loading scripts ......." and returns. It keeps doing that until it like removes tidalLuna stuff and returns to stock Tidal with an unknown error occured. I have disabled all plugins and it is still occuring. When the final screen appears, ill update with a picture.

Steps to Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Have tidal running (No song playing)
2. Wait for it to reload (maybe 10min+)
3. Have it repeat the reload multiple times
4. See error

Expected Behavior

It should not be reloading the page I guess.

Have you tried to do a clean install of tidal?

I have not, I downloaded the latest version and clicked the "Reinstall" . I'll try unistall and refresh install

I left it on without playing music after tidal uninstall. I will delete all plugins to make sure as well.

Okay so it might be a plugin issue? with @meowarex/radiant-lyrics.
When you scroll down in the playlist, and monitor the task manager, the ram just keeps going up on tidal. (most of the time)

I have enabled all my normal plugins without the radiant lyrics and continue monitoring :?

Well I'm guessing this issue has resolved itself over RL updates and tidal changes

Hello @meowarex ,

I had it uninstalled but reinstalled it today to try.
The ram spiked up to 2.5gb from 500mb-800mb usual. And eventually it will just crash.
So i'll just keep it unistalled for now.

If you do want to help me with testing, please try using performance mode or disabling cover Everywhere in the plugin settings

That would help drill down where the ram usage comes from

I have been doing some testing with everything disabled from the plugin, it reaches 1.5-1.7gb. I didn't touch it and it jumped to 3gb ahaha. Not sure where the performance mode is to disable. I find it reached the 2+gb easilly is when player bar blur is enabled. Eventually it reloads Tidal without TidalLuna.

Okay I have looked into this deeply, and I can't find any reason my plugins are causing tidal to reload into stock

That's not something that happens in my testing even at extremely high memory usage on any VM I have been testing this in

I did note that yes Radiant Lyrics does inflate the ram usage and does have a few memory leaks but none of them raise it above 5GB and that doesn't trigger the issue your having in my testing or anyone else that also uses the high memory plugin..

In summary: Radiant Lyrics does indeed inflate ram usage of the tidal process but it shouldn't and doesn't trigger this Tidal reload into stock issue in my testing or in anyone elses usage. Basically, @Inrixia this issue seems to be a Luna issue afterall or another issue relating to OS or Tidal

I can't seem to replicate a link between Radiant Lyrics & Tidal reloading into stock after idle or.. ever ❤️
