Migrate baseline images from DVC to Git LFS

The PyGMT project has migrated baseline images from DVC to Git LFS (GenericMappingTools/pygmt#4738), which simplifies the workflows a lot.

It's likely we can do a similar migration to the GMT repository. Maybe after 6.7.0?

Wau, the possibility of getting rid of DVC is a big win.

About 6.7.0 do you remember which issue with the (outdated) checklist that needs to be open? Can you one one please? Otherwise I'm afraid July slips by and the release too.

I like the idea since I never managed to work with DVC. I agree that we should wait after 6.7.0.

Please first check the total size of all the PS files, because GitHub has a total storage quota of 10 GB.

Not sure how to check it. In this link (https://dagshub.com/user/settings/repositories) I see this. Is it 2 GB?
