Context

With thousands of participant/persistent entries, Soroban storage rent (TTL extension cost) becomes a
real recurring expense. There is no budgeting model or low-rent alerting.

Scope

• Model rent cost vs entry count and extension cadence (instance/persistent/temporary).
• Automate/strategize TTL extension to minimize cost while preventing archival of live entries.
• Alert when an entry approaches expiry or when projected rent exceeds budget.

Acceptance criteria

• A documented rent model + an automated extension strategy with expiry alerts.

Verification

• Simulation projects rent for N entries and the alert fires before archival in test.
