Here is a list of the things that we need to start working for the next iteration of the cost calculator. Most of it is based on #2 and #5. I've added a couple of things that are also important.

Basic tasks

Implementation

• Build menu function - takes validated YAML file
• Watch parameters function - updates the menu
• Run model - takes the output from the menu and returns the computed equations
• Generate report - takes output from model and creates the HTML/Markdown
• Save as pdf - possibly leveraging print from the navigator
• Store model state - Current setup, including model definition to be loaded and shared later

Another important bit:

• Choose a better name for the project!

  We can use something like EpiCON: cost calculator.

These tasks can be replaced/modified. I am creating sub-issues for the moment. I expect the owners of each to populate the issue with implementation/details before jumping into development.

Also, let's not shy away from using copilot. The only thing I would ask you is to ensure you provide a proper description of the problem before assigning it to the AI.

@gvegayon I don't seem to have agent permissions for the ForeSITE organization, and can't dispatch to agents. I'll work on this locally with Zed's agent, but I'd still like this permission at some point.

No worries! I also realized we don't have agent-time for this organization, so you are using your own quota. Do you have a GitHub student account? You can get one using your edu email (plus a few other things). That should give you more time. Worst-case scenario, I think we can buy a few seats for the org.

I have a subscription to Claude which I don't use enough of, so this is probably getting my money's worth :-) I stopped renewing my Student account because I never ended up using it, but I imagine agent time is probably a useful thing to have more than not.
