It would be great to have a Social element for the Data Bar.
The bar could show something simple like Friends: 5 or Guild: 12 or combined 5/12 On hover, it could show a styled list of online friends and guild members, similar to the attached screenshot from TinyGuild.
Useful info could include:
- Name
- Level
- Class color
- Guild rank
- Current zone
- Public note
- AFK/DND status
Possible interactions:
- Left-click the bar to open Friends or Guild
- Click a player to whisper
- Right-click a player for the normal context menu
- Optional modifier-click to invite
A few settings like friends/guild/both, sorting, visible columns and maximum list height would be useful.
This would make it much easier to quickly check who is online with guild ranks and notes (usefull with the bazillon alts everyone has these days)
