Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We are contributors and maintainers. We want an open and welcoming environment. We pledge to make participation in our project and our community free from harassment for everyone. This applies regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Our Standards

These behaviors help to create a positive environment:

  • Use welcoming and inclusive language.
  • Respect different viewpoints and experiences.
  • Accept constructive criticism with grace.
  • Focus on what is best for the community.
  • Show empathy to other community members.

These behaviors by participants are not acceptable:

  • Use of sexualized language or imagery.
  • Unwelcome sexual attention or advances.
  • Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks.
  • Public or private harassment.
  • Publishing the private information of others without their explicit permission. Examples are a physical address or an electronic address.
  • Other conduct that people can reasonably consider inappropriate in a professional setting.

Our Responsibilities

Project maintainers must clarify the standards of acceptable behavior. They must take appropriate and fair corrective action when a participant shows unacceptable behavior.

Project maintainers have the right and the responsibility to act on contributions that do not follow this Code of Conduct. They can remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions. They can also ban a contributor temporarily or permanently for other behavior that they consider inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies in project spaces. It also applies in public spaces when a person represents the project or its community. Examples of representing a project or community are:

  • Use an official project e-mail address.
  • Post with an official social media account.
  • Act as an appointed representative at an online or offline event.

Project maintainers can define and clarify the representation of a project.

Enforcement

To report abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior, contact the project team at support@zoocode.dev. The project team reviews and investigates all complaints. The project team responds in the way that it considers necessary and appropriate for the circumstances. The project team must keep the identity of the reporter of an incident confidential. The project team can post more details about specific enforcement policies separately.

Project maintainers must follow and enforce the Code of Conduct in good faith. If they do not, they can face temporary or permanent consequences. Other members of the project leadership decide the consequences.
