This would be a potential way to get a 120-bit number modulo a number of bins (for use in building a hash set with this hashing algorithm).

If uniform enough, simply adding the modulo of subdivided chunks of the 120-bit number may be enough, though it is not at all guaranteed to equal the full number mod the number of bins.
