Mark Read on scroll malfunctioning

On version 2.0.0, I think there’s some bug with previously read posts/comments.
I have “Mark Read on scroll” enabled and sometimes (not always), I’ll return to a subreddit and see posts I have previously read show up as though I’ve not visited them before.
It happens only sometimes though (about 20% of the time, I’d estimate).
This also wasn’t happening in the 1.4.5 and earlier version 1 iterations.
I've had to go back to version 1.4.5

Seems to have been fixed in the latest version.
