Toggle Hotkey Unresponve

For me at least the toggle hotkey is unresponsive. I've assigned tried assigning the same strokes for forcing light or dark and it does work just not for toggling. Hoping to figure it out as I'd like to assign the same macro key on my keyboard to control system theme. Thank you

Toggling while having auto switch enabled has a few seconds delay and will show a notification when auto switch is enabled, which means you have to wait a bit before it switches. If you have notifications disabled you may miss that step.
Could that be why you think there's an issue?

Thanks for your reply. I don't get any notifications from Auto Dark Mode when using any hotkeys, but force light and dark mode commands do react instantly. I have tried waiting for the toggle hotkey to take effect but it is unresponsive. I even have the example hotkeys on the adm store images set.

Could you enable debug logs in the settings (trace is not necessary, only debug), then press the hotkey again and post your service.log?

you're forcing the theme to dark, and then you hit the toggle hotkey.
Forcing a theme will override any other inputs until you have cleared the force flag.

How does one clear the force flag?

You can clear a force flag by pressing the associated hotkey again or right-clicking the tray and removing the checkmark on the entry.
