Bootstrap: "FOUND SLOT 8" and Resending "PDSpeed.raw" Over and Over (ADTPro)

Apple IIGS ROM 03 screen says "FOUND SLOT 8" (I typed "IN#2") after the Speedboot process starts with Windows PC connected. Bootstrap proceeds normally but then goes into an infinite loop when transferring PDSpeed.raw, over and over and over.

Also, if you ever make a new version, please consider adding a comprehensive serial-cable-I/O-chip-testing option that would try a number of ways to test the integrity of the serial cable connection. Different I/O chips seem to give different quality results for things like telnet connections.

SLOT 8 is shorthand for the built-in serial (modem) port on the GS, so that's what it's going to try to use. If you happen to be using a serial card in addition to the modem port, that can cause problems with automatic booting that will favor the modem port. Next, it would be instructive to know exactly what steps the bootstrapper goes through. Does it complete the MLI and go on to LOADING ADTPRO: or does it continuously cycle on LOADING MLI:?
