Example: I'm always frustrated when im trying to focus but distracting apps keep changing my focus

Proposed Solution

A Button on the main menu , widget or a control center button it makes you choose distracting apps and productive apps if focus mode is on opening a distracting app will not be possible unless using a emergency use charge maybe even a scedule feature that lets you set a time for the focus mode ti activate or at a specific date and maybe add some customisation that lets you enable grayscale, do not disturb and so on and off when enabled

Hey STEVE123132, this is exactly the pain that led me to build LockIn. Most "focus modes" are just browser extensions that are way too easy to bypass when the urge hits.

If you're already using AI agents in your workflow, you might want to look at system-level blocking via the hosts file. It's unbypassable because it happens at the network layer, not just the tab layer. I built an MCP server that lets your agent manage this for you.

Even if you don't use a specific tool, the hosts file approach is the way to go if you want something that actually sticks.

Hello @STEVE123132, do you want a feature with control like the bedtime feature that can be set for days and from what time it runs?.

Currently there is a feature that can help you, namely incentive lock. incentive lock works by blocking all shield applications that you have added, and can only be opened if you have completed the entire app focus target, although currently it is only the ones you added, it seems that adding further features like the one you are referring to is a good idea
